Realizations and Life Advice

This post is my 30th consecutive post for the month of April 2014.  I have now successfully completed the Ultimate blog challenge of blogging every day for 30 straight days.  (I will continue to blog a little less frequently now.)

What I Have Learned

Through this experience I have realized that I can write. This challenge has inspired me to continue blogging and to start writing that book I have always wanted to write.

I have realized what I am capable of when I focus on a challenge and I can now use this experience to meet any challenge I may face in other areas of life and business.

I am excited to continue blogging (a little less frequently for now), to create video content for my YouTube channel, and to start writing an eBook with some of the content I have already created on this blog.

What the Future Holds

The future looks more promising and exciting now having completed a 30-day blog challenge.  Now that I know I can do this, I know that I can write a book that will resonate with certain people who relate to me and my life experience.

I believe we all have valuable life experience we can share with one another no matter who we are and where we are from.  We all have special gifts to offer one another.  Someone on the other side of the planet may be reading this and relating to me and I am grateful for this opportunity to connect with you.

My Intention For You

When we set aside our fears (as best we can), it’s amazing what we can accomplish.  My intention for you, dear reader, is that you follow your dreams.  If you don’t know what you want yet, work on figuring that out first.  Then as you begin to learn more about yourself, you can begin to move step by step toward your goals, and one by one you will be make forward progress toward achieving your dreams.

A Few Words of Advice

Always strive at doing what your are doing really well and you will have self respect. Be patient with yourself as you make personal progress as an individual.  Whatever it is that you want more of in your life, give that away freely (without charge) and watch it come back to you multiplied.

Practice Gratitude Daily

Be thankful for everything in your life and do your best to stop judging every person and situation in your experience. The more thankful you are for everyone and everything in your everyday life, the easier it will be to enjoy your life.

Stop the Drama

If you can begin to become more aware of when you are creating drama in your life, you may wish to stop that habit.  Do the best you can at least to stop blaming others, the world, circumstances, etc for your problems. When you can truly accept 100% responsibility for everything in your life (the good and the perceived bad), you will experience major positive breakthroughs in your life and business. Your attitude is crucial to succeeding at anything in life.

Keep Making Forward Progress

If you have a goal/intention you are working toward, know that you can reach it if you continue moving forward. You only fail when you stop or quit. Sometimes it’s two steps forward and one step back. If you keep going, you can succeed at anything. Never ever give up. Keep making baby steps toward your dreams and your life can keep getting better and better.

You have the power and ability to accomplish anything you put your focus on. What is it you want to accomplish while you are here?  What are your dreams? What are some goals that will help you move toward your dreams?

Go write your answers to those questions down on paper, date it, and keep it somewhere safe.  You will re read it someday and realize that you have achieved what you wrote on that paper. If you don’t write it down, how will you ever know?

This is a powerful exercise anyone can do to create positive change in their life.  You have to actually do the exercise though.  So go do it now and if you’re comfortable sharing any dreams or goals, please share them in a comment below.

Pay It Forward

As you begin to build on each success and your life get better, you will begin to see ways in which you can give to others less fortunate than you.  You might try starting with a kind word, a smile, a hug (where appropriate).

As your business grows, you might decide to create prizes, draws and/or giveaways for customers as a expression of gratitude for your successful business.

You might be in a situation where you are able to help or assist someone in need.  When you have this opportunity, take action on it right away.  Do not hold back doing a good deed for someone.

What you give, you will receive.  Make a habit of giving goodwill and kindness to others and do your best to turn away from the negativity you might see.
